System Restore (restores system settings to a previous state)

1. Click ‘Start’
2. Click ‘All Programs’
3. Under ‘Accessories’, select ‘System Tools’
4. Click ‘System Restore’
5. Check ‘Restore my computer to a earlier time’; click ‘next’
6. Select a restore point (restore points are in bold on the calendar); click ‘next’
7. Read the screen confirmation; click ‘next’ (the computer will restart with the restored settings)
8. To undo the system restore, run System Restore again; select ‘undo my last restoration’
